SOURCEY & PEPSI: A MATCH MADE IN BRANDED MERCH HEAVEN
It’s not every day that one of the biggest brands in the world picks up the phone and says they want to work with you. It’s kind of like scoring front-row seats to the Era’s Tour! Let’s be real here — it’s a pretty BIG DEAL!
So when we got the call from Pepsi asking us to help them with their upcoming Global executive conference we were beyond pumped.
Their brief was totally our jam and we knew we could deliver. They wanted to know if we could create executive packs for the global team to launch their new rebrand.
Cue the Sourcey HQ hysteria—squeals of delight and brainstorming sessions!
Without hesitation, we sprang into action, fueled by a mission as clear as Pepsi’s signature taste.
THE BRIEF: TO SRSLY IMPRESS THE PEPSI EXECS
The team at Pepsi were after retail quality items that would impress the pants of their exec team! At sourcey.m we live to impress, and the team hustled to find the best merch options available.
Our quest involved darting around like race cars, gathering samples of the finest quality goodies, and hand-delivering them to Pepsi for an up-close and personal feel. Because, let’s face it, you can’t fully appreciate the awesomeness of branded merch through a computer screen.
And guess what? They were utterly and completely blown away!
Now, let’s talk about time because when Pepsi says “fast,” they mean warp-speed fast!
THE TIMEFRAME WAS TIGHT
When the clock is ticking like a bomb about to go off, that’s when we thrive. We may enjoy leisurely strolls, but when the pressure’s on, we become merch-making sprinters. Pepsi needed their branded retail quality Travel backpacks, stunning umbrellas, and fully customised PMS colour-matched roundie towels, and they needed them pronto in just three weeks). And if you think three weeks is tight, you wouldn’t be wrong, but wait, there’s a twist! The Smiths Snack Co. (yes, those snack geniuses) joined the party fashionably late, wanting custom-branded iPhone covers showcasing their entire snack kingdom. Cue the mild panic, but we’re never ones to back down from a challenge.
There is a sense of adrenaline when a timeline is particularly tight. We love long lead times, but under pressure, we can deliver things FAST. We managed to turn the retain-quality iPhone covers around for them directly from the factory in just one week!
