Consider our enduring partnership with Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) as an excellent example. The fact that our collaboration has surpassed the average duration of a marriage speaks volumes about our unwavering loyalty and dedication.

sourcey.m and SCA have been a perfect match since 2015. Curious about how this amazing journey began? Let’s take a stroll down memory lane to where the magic first ignited. It all started with a Giant 2M Beach Ball, as many great relationships do.

Fox FM was undergoing a rebranding effort for HIT. And the launch’s head honcho had a highly specific request in mind. She was in search of PMS color-matched giant beach balls, a task her current agency couldn’t tackle. She reached out to us, and in the words of Celeste Barber, we said, “#ChallengeAccepted.”

We burned the midnight oil to craft the perfect beach balls for the launch. Although it initially seemed like an impossible feat (Giant beach balls, PMS color matched, designed, and delivered within a mere two weeks!), we embraced the challenge wholeheartedly.

That was eight years ago, and from that moment forward, we knew we were a Merch Match Made in Heaven. You see, when we gain a client, we tend to keep them. We have a knack for turning “one-off requests” into enduring partnerships. While we certainly can and do work on individual campaigns, we derive immense joy from continually surprising and delighting our merch besties, always going the extra mile for them.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

Over the years, we’ve collaborated with SCA on countless projects. Some of our favorite briefs have included Triple M rocks footy packs, custom named varsity jackets for Fev and the team, custom MeMoji playing cards for Hugsey, Kate, Carrie, and Tom, and branded tissues for the Adele concert (this is nothing to “sneeze” at!).

Our customer-centric approach isn’t just lip service; we walk the walk. Our clients’ happiness is our happiness, and their successes are our victories. We celebrate together, even when times get tough. A prime example of our resilience and creativity was during the pandemic.

In 2020, the AFL Grand Final was looming, and Melbourne resembled a ghost town. Sporting events had no spectators, and people’s spirits were low. There’d be no crowds at the Grand Final.

The Triple M team was in a bind. They wanted to provide their VIP clients with a special gift. In normal circumstances, they’d invite them to the game for a memorable day. But these were far from normal times.

We sat down with our friends at Triple M and devised a plan. While the clients couldn’t attend the game in person, we could bring the game to them, and that’s exactly what we did.

We curated an awesome BBQ Gift Pack, complete with all the essentials for an Aussie barbecue, for people to enjoy at home on Game Day. The entire pack was customized with Triple M branding (well, except for the meat – it doesn’t comply with health and safety standards, but we would if we could)!

THE OUTCOME

Triple M felt fantastic about their thoughtful gift.
Triple M’s clients were thrilled with their surprise.
sourcey.m was elated to have aced the brief.

The moral of the story? Long-term relationships are paramount to us. Teamwork is in our DNA. When you choose to work with us, you become a part of our team. And just like scoring the perfect goal seconds before the siren, the victory is oh-so-sweet.
